I LOVE MUSIC! It has been a passion of mine since I was very young. I have cried to it, laughed with it, partied to it, broken up to it, and walked down the aisle to it. Music has also played a part in most of my working life. There have been and still are so many talented musicians out there. I love the Blues, Southern Rock, Zydeco, Country, Alternative, Heavy Metal ……. you get the picture. A couple great Southern Rock bands are Blackberry Smoke and The D.B. Bryant Band. They have some great tunes. I recommend checking them out on MySpace or googling them. Everclear is coming to the WOW HALL in Eugene, OR on Feb. 17th. Everclear rocks, I love their songs, AM Radio and Wonderful and many more. I would like to thank the girls at Jessie’s Silver Dollar in Coos Bay for taking care of me when I come in to take over the jukebox and have some fun. It seems like I just got back from Missouri and now I am getting ready to go to Galveston (somewhere near Texas). Going by the Crazy Oaks, The Spot, and Woody’s Bar and seeing my buddies … it’s been awhile. I am going to try and catch one of Billy Bourbon’s shows and catch up with Scruz Loose. I am sure I will make a pit stop in L.A. which is always a good time. The Runaways movie comes out March 19th. I can’t wait, I have always been a huge fan of the Runaways. I believe they were one of the pioneers for hardcore rock chics. It started off the careers of Joan Jett and Lita Ford, Cherie Currie and the late Sandy West. I hope it does the band justice. So long for now and remember it’s a long way to the top if ya wanna rock ‘n roll!
